Jayed’s fifer put East Zone on domination

Islami Bank East Zone: 95/0 in 19 overs (Liton Das 60*, Mehedi Maruf 32*)
BCB North Zone: 210/3 in 93 overs (Jahurul Islam 65, Naeem Islam 54*, Ziaur Rahman 1/28)
The first day of Bangladesh Cricket League has observed sheer dominance of Islami Bank East Zone who have bowled out Walton Central Zone by 224 runs and ended the day on 95 without no loss. Abu Jayed has secured a fifer to demolish Central Zone innings. In reply to the meager first innings total, East Zone openers started swiftly. Liton Das scored a quick fifty and remained unbeaten on 60 runs playing only 59 balls.
BCB North Zone, in another match at Sylhet, have ended the day with seven wickets in hand by scoring 210 runs. The batsmen have shown utmost composure in scoring runs against Prime Bank South Zone and stayed on the crease for long period of time. Jahurul Islam and Naeem Islam both played fifty plus innings. Naeem was remained unbeaten along with Nasir Hossain who was batting on 35 runs.
